I am India

one among millions!!!

Today when I was surfing TV, I saw a channel’s coverage on “Kargil: 10 Years”. It suddenly reminded me of the days when this war happened. Remember the bedtime stories that we used to enjoy sleeping in our granny’s lap? Those tales told us about great wars, warriors and sacrifices people made. We enjoyed hearing them as fantastic fables and fell fast asleep. But here I was watching real life story. A person who sacrificed himself to protect us and our motherland. He is AMAR JAWAN.

This Amar Jawan is one Unknown Soldier. He works round the clock and keeps constant vigil on border to make sure that his fellow Indians are secure and have a sound sleep.Sometimes I feel he is giving us more than what we deserve. If any soilder out there looks back, he will only see loads of scams, selfish government and insane people readily gather to cut each other’s throat in the name of religion, region and caste.

Is this our thanks-giving to the noble soldier who is ready to become a martyr? Why should he fight for people who can’t stand for each other? Will the noble martyr’s soul ever rest in peace seeing the country he saved from enemies being torn into pieces by his fellow countrymen? These are questions for us to ask ourselves and act on them.

Let’s not just remember them only for a day and forget the next day. But remember them every moment and perform our duties towards our country. He is there to protect our nation from external forces, let’s make it secure from within. This is the true tribute we should give for his precious sacrifice.

Always remember:

“Koi Sikh, Koi Jaat Maraatha, Koi Gurakha, Koi Madaraasi
Sarahad Pe Maranevaala, Har Veer Tha Bhaaratavaasi
Jo Khoon Gira Parvat Par, Vo Khoon Tha Hindustaani

Tum Bhool Na Jaao Unko, is Liye Kahi Ye Kahaani
Jo Shaheed Hain Unki Zara Yaad Karo Khurbaani”

I raised my head and saw you there, walkng 2wards me,
A smile had started in your eyes and it was good to see,
One moment, it reached your lips and lingered for a while,
I wonder - "if you knew the joy that travelled with u r smile?"
When I walk down my path and someone smiles at me, I start smiling and turn the corner to see someone see my smile and carry it forward. I realized how a single smile like mine forms a chain and travel across the globe.

This is one of my favourite scenes from a regional movie. A guy (sad soul with all problems) will be standing in a bus stop near traffic signal. He is waiting for his bus and sees a car standing at the signal. He notices a girl peeping through the car window and giving a proud look at him. As he is staring at her, signal turns green and the car moves. Then he notices that this girl is actually on a cycle. She stopped it next to the car window gave an impression that she is in the car. He smiles at that incident and he realizes how his problems took back seat for a moment. This changes his attitude.

Most of us come across such small and funny incidents. Life gives us chance to smile at various moments like, cute baby’s smile, flower in our balcony, lush green fields, pretty sunshine faces, funny poster or cartoon etc. So smile, not because it costs nothing but because you make someone smile and make their day.

So smileeeeeeeeee please :) :) :) See, it looks good on you, infact it suits you the best.

Keep Smiling...

He needs no introduction. Everyone across the globe know him for one or another reason. He was crownless emperor in the world of music. He was Micheal Jackson (MJ).

Many of us grew up listening to his songs, decorated the walls with his posters and imitated his steps. He was a universal concept, a huge inspiration to people who are passionate about music. He was stylish: in his appearance and in his performance. From Jackson 5 to Solo Jackson, from “Where is he?” to “Here he is”, he has done it time and again for decades. Unique and Ultimate artist.

Being such a great entertainer, enjoying tons and tons of fan following he still appeared humble, honest and child like person. I donno if this world became jealous of the child inside him who refused to grow up and surrounded him with all the controversies. But his smile speaks a million words about his innocence.

I am completely convinced that he was not weird or bizzare. He was just a normal person who had simple urge to enjoy life like any of us but being brought up under extreme conditions. No matter what he went through and how he went through, he was simply a superb person who loved and cared for humanity. He was an era that created waves. Nobody can erase or replace the legacy he has created.

MJ, you will be missed. Your music performances are historic and forever in our hearts. This is it!!!

Today, the famous moonwalker is walking into kingdom of God and may his soul rest in peace.
